GMO Experiment
Who says chemistry and writing don't go together? Our class was split up into five groups to each test five different foods. The goal of this experiment was to determine if some of the common foods we eat contain genetically modified DNA-the results may surprise you! For the full extent of our research, visit the "GMO Experiment" tab. There, you will also find two summaries of our results for two different audiences: a scientific research audience and a concerned parent audience.
Douglas Bean Experiment
Inspired by "The Good Life- I Talk To The Trees," we were assigned to perform the "experiment" from this TV show. We split our class into three groups: the love group, the hate group, and the control group. Each group is pretty self-explanatory. The goal was to either love, hate, or be impartial to your bean plant and determine which group had the most success growing their plant. Check out the full explanation under the "Douglas Bean Experiment" tab!
